Q:   We have some people that want to play in their age group as well as play up in an older age group.  Is this something that people normally do?  For example, he wants to play on a team in the 7-8 age group and the 9-10 age group.  Is there a rule addressing this?

A:  Players may play up an age group, but they need to make that decision early because they cannot play on two teams in the same league. There is a provision for players to play up or down and that is if your local league has a farm system to prevent forfeits due to lack of numbers.
